Spring Seminar


Theme: “Urban Environments”

Time: 10-3:30 (registration starts at 9 am)

Topics include: deer management, urban wetlands, rabies outbreaks, urban avian interactions, invasive species, fish stocking, and urban naturalization.

Our annual seminar series is held each spring at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick. The scope of this session is to: promote communication of wildlife related work, and provide networking opportunities for wildlife and environmental organizations throughout the Atlantic region. A theme, or topic, is selected each year. Professionals associated with the topic are encouraged to present. This also provides is an opportunity for students to network with potential employers.


Payment for the Spring Seminar can be made through credit (online only- see below), or cash and cheque (day of) by registering at bottom.

Registration Type

If you are unable to attend in person, for the first time the ASFWB will also be making the spring seminar presentations viewable by webinar courtesy of the Atlantic Salmon Conservation Foundation.   You will have to register for both the morning and afternoon sessions (you won’t be able to watch us eat lunch!).
